Product Description
316 stainless steel, also recognized as marine grade stainless or
A4 stainless, is renowned for its heightened resistance to
corrosion, making it ideal for saltwater and marine applications.
While possessing similar physical properties and utilitarian
functions as 304 stainless steel, the key distinction lies in the
inclusion of molybdenum, typically comprising 2-3% of its
composition (though certain specialty 300-series stainless steels
can contain up to 7-8% molybdenum).
The elevated nickel content and the addition of molybdenum render
316 stainless steel mesh slightly more expensive than grade 304,
yet offer superior corrosion resistance, particularly against
chlorides and chlorinated solutions. Consequently, 316 stainless
steel finds extensive use in environments requiring
chloride-resistant properties, such as chemical processes and
high-salinity conditions. Additionally, due to its non-reactive
nature, it is widely utilized in the manufacture of medical and
surgical equipment.

Standard sizes and custom cuts are available for stainless steel
sheets, with standard sheet sizes 1219mm,1500mm depending on
thickness, alloy, and finish. Additionally, all sheets can be cut
to size as per your specific requirements.
Our standard tolerance for custom cuts is +/- 0.2. However, if you
require a tighter tolerance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Furthermore, volume discounts are available. Unit prices decrease
for most custom-cut products when you increase the quantities
